APPLYING FOR A WORKING VISA
Working Holiday Visa’s are available to residents of the following countries:
Citizens of United Kingdom, Canada, the Netherlands, Japan, Republic of Ireland, Republic of Korea, Malta, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) of the People's Republic of China, Finland, the Republic of Cyprus, France, and Italy, Belgium and Taiwan can apply for a 12 month working Visa.
To be eligible for the grant of a Working Holiday Visa you must;
1) Be between; 18 and 30 years of age inclusive at the time of application.
2) Have no dependent children.
3) Intend to travel and holiday in Australia with the option of taking incidental work to supplement your holiday funds. You are prohibited by law from working for one employer for more than a total period of three months, unless you obtain written permission from the Department of Immigration & Multicultural Affairs in Australia.
4) Have not previously entered Australia on Working Holiday Visa.
5) Have sufficient money for
- the fare to your intended overseas destination on leaving Australia.
- personal support for the purpose of a working holiday.
6) Meet health and character requirements.
